What's your opinion on high fence hunting. Many of these pictures on the magazine covers are deer taken in an enclosure or high fence a I'm just wondering what the average hunter thinks about it.

I'll go ahead and throw in my $.02 first. I don't care for it much. Doesn't seem like fair chase and I guess ultimately it's the hunter that wants guaranteed success and a big rack to go with it that supports the high fence operations...at least that would seem true in my area. There are several high fence operations running near where I hunt. It certainly changed the range of the deer that weren't in the fence enclosure too. I'm amazed at how far deer travel.

I never hunted high fence. I don't have that kind of $$$ to hunt places like that.

I don't call it hunting, it's more like high fence shooting. To each their own I guess, but for me shooting a caged animal (no matter how large the cage is) isn't very sporting.
