I've even taken my laptop in the woods to download the pictures right there at the tree...kinda cumbersome though.

I prefer to take the card in, gets the pics and wipe them off the SD card and put the SD card right back in
|

Me too. I ended up getting two SD cards per camera. Just take one out and put a clean one in.
Note to self. Always Carry your SD card in the plastic case it comes in. If you carry the SD card without case you can erase all of the images due to static in your pocket. I learned this the hard way once.
