How to get Trail Cam photos to transfer from SD card to PC running XP 6 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 5
My i40Infrared is running fine. I took out the sd card and placed it in my Dell Axim x30. The trail camera has plenty of nice shots of deer.

I can see the photos fine on the Pocket PC, however, I am having trouble seeing them on my PC running XP.

I can find the file by going to my Mobile Device\ Storage Card \ DCIM \ 100_MDGC

It shows a lot of files with the file extension under a Microsoft kind of clip art thingy in lieu of seeing the full photo thumbnail

Any help on how to see the SD pictures on my PC is appreciated!

I figured it out but don't ask me how

Re3ally though in case someone else has this issue:

I made a folder on my PC drive and named it Trail Camera

I then opened the SD card file on my Pocket PC and selected all and clicked and dragged them from the Pocket PC devive folder over to the Desk Top PC.

It worked!

Yep, that'll work or just insrt the card in your sd slot, open the card or drive, select all and in the left hand column click "move this file". It'll ask you for a destination drive or folder.

I created a folder called Moultrie Photos 2008.

You can right click inside the folder you created ,select view then small medium large or extra large icons to get the pics to show up in the folder. Nice pics by the way.

I bough a "Media Gear" card reader from Wal Mart, around $15 it takes several tpes of cards. Took all the effort out of getting pics off my SD card, videos too!!

Can't you click on view and select thumbnails to see your photos? Is that what your asking?

What are the file extentions or file types that you see?

Good job!

I sometimes will just insert my SD card into my Samsung digital camera just to see what all pics are on there before I upload them to my computer.
